The Cochlea determines the pitch of a sound.

Cochlea is concerned with hearing. It  looks like the shell of a snail as it spirals.

Organ of corti is located within the cochlea.

Hearing is dependent on sensory receptors in our ears, the cochlear nerve, and the auditory cortex.
