  • Silicosis – it is caused by the inhalation of fine free crystalline silicon dioxide(silica) dust or quartz particles.
  • Asbestosis – defined as diffuse fibrosis of the lungs caused by the inhalation of asbestos particles.
  • Siderosis – caused by mineral deposition of iron oxide in arc welding occupation.
  • Stannosis – due to mine deposition of tin oxide in tin mining.
