Candida fungi are an absolute fungal parasite which lives on the host.  Since it requires a tissue for the living organisms for independent living. Toxic substance are produced which causes poisoning of the living organism, and weakening of the immune system.

Some of the diseases caused by fungal pathogens are ring worm, athlete’s foot.

Candida albicans and related species causes the cutaneous mycoses are examples of fungal pathogens.
