The pulse rate of a person indicates the Heart rate. The Heart is defined as the number of heartbeats per unit of time. It is expressed as beats per minute. The normal pulse rate is 60-100 beats per minute. The Bradycardia indicates slow heart rate, it is so called when the pulse rate is below 60 beats per minute. Tachycardia indicates fast heart rate; it is so called when the pulse rate is above 100 beats per minute. When the pulse rate is not in a regular pattern, it is said to arrhythmia.
