1. It is homogenous in nature.

2. It is formed of structurally and functionally similar cells.

2. It is formed of different type of cell performing different functions.

3. They are simple tissues.

3. They are complex tissues which form major part in vascular bundle so known as vascular tissue.

4. The simple tissues are; i. Parenchyma, ii. Collenchyma, iii. Sclerenchyma.

4. The complex tissues are; Xylem and phloem.
