The cerebral hemorrhage also called the intracranial hemorrhage (ICH). The Brain tissue is the site within which the cerebral hemorrhage occurs.

As the cerebral hemorrhage occurs within the Brain tissue it is an intra-axial type of hemorrhage.

Intraparenchymal hemorrhage and intraventricular hemorrhage are the two types of intracranial hemorrhage.

Etiology: Following are the causes of cerebral hemorrhage:

  1. Hyperglycemia
  2. Menopause
  3. Tobacco smoking
  4. Alcoholism
  5. High Blood Pressure

Symptoms: The most common symptom people face is the severe headache with vomiting. Other symptoms depends on the area where bleeding occurred. Even sometimes patient goes into coma and still the intracranial hemorrhage is not diagnosed.
