The cell plate is formed between the two groups of daughter chromosomes which is formed after the karyokinesis. The karyokinesis is followed by the cytokinesis process. The cell wall is formed by the deposition of the cellulose on the either sides of the middle lamellae formed from the phragmoplast. The karyokinesis results in the formation of the two daughter cells.
