The coenocytic endosperm is found in the nuclear type endosperm development which is noticed in the endosperms of cereals maize, rice, barley, wheat etc. During the development of the nuclear type of endosperm, the initial endosperm nucleus divides repeatedly without cell wall formation which results in the formation of the coenocytic stage of the endosperm.
