Viruses are non-cellular organisms without the nucleus, cytoplasm, plasma membrane and other cell organelles. They have either RNA or DNA as the genetic material. The central core of the nuclei acid is surrounded by a protein coat known as the capsid. The capsid is made up of assembling of the identical units which are known as the capsomeres.
