Artificial insemination is a method of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) which involves manipulation of reproduction in animals and humans.

It involves collection of semen from superior male, which serves as the male parent. It is then injected into the reproductive tract of the selected female which serves as the female parent by the breeder.
