ADH (Antidiuretic Hormone) affects nephrons of the kidney. It stimulates water reabsorption by kidneys. It reduces the amount of water lost in urine by regulating body’s overall water balance.

ADH is produced by neurons in the hypothalamus called neurosecretory cells.
