The preventive measures of Hepatitis B are:
1. Use of sterilized, disposable needles and syringes.
2. Donor’s blood should be examined for Hepatitis B antigens.
3. Proper antiseptic method to be adopted during injections and surgical procedures.
4. Avoid multiple sexual partners.
5 Hepatitis B vaccine should be given to people at risk. E.g. doctors, nurses and paramedical staff.
