The primary plant metabolism is the main metabolism or they are the vital reaction that drives the plant. It is the principal metabolism of the plant so also known as the basic metabolism. The products formed as a result of primary metabolism is known as the primary metabolites. The formation of the nucleic acid, amino acids, proteins, carboxylic acid etc. is examples of primary metabolism.
