Phototropism is the movement or response of the plant towards the force of light. The movement of the shoot system is an example for the phototropism. The gravitropism is the movement or response of the plants towards or away from the force of gravity by the different parts of the plants. The movement of the primary roots towards the force of gravity is an example for the gravitropism.
