Celery is a vascular plant since it possesses the complex conducting tissues. The presence of conducting elements can be proved by doing the celery experiment. A glass with 1/3 portion is filled with water and red food colour is added and then placed the celery plant in it. The celery plank sucks up the water and transferred to all the parts of the plants so that the entire plant turns red in colour. This is because of the presence of the conducting tissues in it.
