  • Blastocyst is the stage of early embryonic development. It is a hollow ball of cells filled with fluid.
  • At the time of pre-embryonic development zygote divides repeatedly and develops into a morula, and then into a blastocyst. Indeed it is the cells of morula divide and release a fluid and becomes a blastocyst.
  • In uterus, it attaches to the thickened uterine lining.
  • When blastocyst burrows and attaches itself into the lining of the uterus it is called implantation.
