cDNA library is a collection of clones of double stranded DNA molecules derived from RNA preparation. cDNA is synthesized from mRNA by the reverse transcriptase enzyme and inserted into a plasmid or virus vector and cloned. A cDNA library consists of only coding DNA sequences.
